We heard about a hiking spot that is about a 5 minute drive from our house so we headed out on Thursday afternoon. It was supposed to take half an hour each way but ended up taking us almost two hours to complete because we let Braeden walk a lot of the way there. He was amazing walking up those hills with such ease and he enjoyed it so much. It was a beautiful day not too hot or cold and not too many bugs and the scenery was gorgeous and the view at the top was amazing! You can see the banner at the top of my blog now ... that was from the top! Anyhoo we had a great afternoon and a good workout. I think we will do that trek a few more times this summer :)
