Well the most exciting news for us is that two weeks ago yesterday we moved my father out of our house and into a bedroom in someone else's house. Thank you Mom for the loan to help us out with that!
What an amazing difference it makes to finally have our house to ourselves. He has been living with us for 2.5 years and that is the whole time plus a few months that we've been married! Whew! What sweet relief.
Now we can finally just worry about ourselves and do what we want and be free in our own home.
Finally God gave us a way out of the situation that has been so so so difficult for us to handle and just when we thought we couldn't take any more - we found a way out!! God is good!
Now that he is gone we can work on fixing up our basement and other various projects around the house like the electrical stuff. This weekend Mark is working on the bathroom downstairs which needs a new ceiling fan, shower fixture and some part for the sink.
We also need to fix the vents in the ceiling in all the rooms and I will be washing walls and cleaning the laundry area.
Hopefully we can also fit in a trip or two to value villiage as we need to cart away A LOT of stuff. Since we're moving across the country ina few months we need to get rid of a lot of stuff and if my sister doesn't want it then we'll take it to value villiage.
On another note the babe is doing well. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday morning. First off let me say that the receptionists LIED. I was told that if you go early in the morning you won't have to wait long at all since there isn't much chance of the doc getting behind..WRONG! The office opened at 8am and my appointment was at 9 am which was the earliest I could get. I still had to wait over an HOUR! Talk about frustrating! It was only frustrating because I had a certain expectation for an early morning appointment. I know if I go any later in the day I wait a minimum of 1 hour usually 2-3 hours.
So anyway, i have gained another 4 pounds and was surprised it wasn't more since I have totally over indulged in the chocolate the last few days. Baby's head is down which is good. My blood pressure and his heart rate were good.
I have an ultrasound scheduled for the 7th of January and will see the doc a few days after and then I go in again in two weeks and then in another week it will be induction time!
Okay I am off to hopefully get another hour or two of sleep before getting up to start the day.

Larry and Andrea came by late this afternoon and Andrea and I went shopping while Larry stayed at home to visit with Marky.
Shopping went surprisingly well...the crowds weren't bad at least not in Zellers.
Here are a few pics.

Well it's been a very long week for me because I have worked all but Wednesday.
It's amazing to me just how tired I get so quickly now. My back gets sore, my ankles swell and I just am so exhausted. Maybe I am packing around a lil too much weight! Damn this chocolate craving!
Oh well not too much longer to go and after today I am off work until the 3rd of January and the 4th is my last day. That's not bad at all. Wish I could have worked longer but if this boy is going to be here at the end of January I'd best get to organizing the house! But I sure will miss the money coming in as it certainly has helped.
And I should read the books again on how to look after a newborn! Luckily my Mom will be coming down to be with us for a week or so when we bring the babe home so that will help and be sooo nice!
Okay back to work for me. Only 3 hours to go!
Happy Friday everyone!

Question for you
When you log on to my blog do you see a small picture at the very top with the scenery ... small as in about an 1-2 inches wide OR do you see a banner that is about 4-5 inches wide?
I ask bcuz I have not done a thing and this morning I logged on and I am all of a sudden seeing a BIG banner instead of the regular one?
Very strange, don't you think?!

A devotional
I receive daily devotionals in my e-mail and I thought this one had a really good message for everyone and thought I should share it with everyone who reads this. How important it is to remember that no one is better than anyone else and that God loves us the same no matter what.
God So Loved The World
JOHN 3:16 WEY
16 For so greatly did God love the world that He gave His only Son, that every one who trusts in Him may not perish but may have the Life of Ages.
Do you ever get fed up with the world? Do you just get tired of all the lies and the selfishness?
Do you ever deal with people that you think maybe the world would be better off if they just went to hell right away?
Well, God never thinks that way. God loves the world -- enough to die for it. He has never changed His mind.
JOHN 3:16-17 LB
16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
Remember this the next time you are having difficulty with someone. You are dealing with someone God loves!
No matter how you classify yourself -- God loves you. If you are a sinner or a saint, God loves you. And the good news is that God's love and power will change you into what you should be.
JOHN 3:16 BBE
16 For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life. Don't ever forget it: God loves people.
SAY THIS: God loves the whole world of people -- including me and everyone I know.

31 Weeks With DQ
Today I am 31 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound on Friday and at that time DQ weighed in at just over 4 pounds and he was doing quite well. He did his "practice breathing" and everything looked really good. They say he is in the 60th percentile for growth now and will probably be 8 pounds at the time of his birth.
Speaking of time of birth I had a doctors' appointment on Thursday and she said she would like to induce me at 37 weeks which would mean during the last week of January. His due date isn't until February 17th so that would be kind of nice as we are getting so anxious as the time gets closer. So depending on how things go we could have a January baby or first week of Feb. baby.

Trip to Vancouver
We did the early Christmas thing again this year and spent 4 full days in Vancouver - well Port Moody actually, visiting my Mom and her boyfriend Joe, as well as my Ant & Unc and cousin Corey.
We arrived early on Friday morning and were met by my Ant & Unc. We spent a lovely day together driving around the city and stopping for lunch at this great restaurant on Grandville Island.
We then headed back to their place where we played Nintendo Wii (bowling) which was so fun! My Mom and Joe got there around dinner time and we enjoyed a dinner together and then headed back to their place where we were staying.
The following day we relaxed all morning and then headed to the mall for a bit in the afternoon so that I could purchase a pair of jeans that actually FIT ME and Mom and Joe had a bit of shopping to do as well.
We then headed to a fabulous greek restaurant and had a delicious dinner there and our plan was to head back to the apartment to watch a movie but the boys both fell asleep! And snoring - my goodness what a racket! hahahahaha!!!
So, on Sunday Mark and I woke up bright and early and relaxed for a few hours waiting for Mom n' Joe to wake up. We then took our time getting ready and headed over to Ant & Unc's place as Mom and Joe were hosting a big family dinner that night over there.
Mom made the turkey dinner with was awesome and we had a bowling tournament on the Wii which was so fun. My cousin Corey showed up and he and I went out for a bit in search of batteries for my camera and had ourselves a nice lil visit.
Joe's daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids showed up shortly after Corey and I got back and the focus was again the Nintento wii as the kids enjoyed playing. That Wii really is a great source of entertainment for young and old alike!
So, dinner was ready and what a feast it was. My Mom is the best cook ever! It was sooooooo delicous and we were all so stuffed afterwards! Thank you Mom for making dinner!!!!
A lil while after dinner we all went home and headed to bed.
Monday was our last full day and we headed out to Fort Langley with Mom and Joe and the Ant. We rode on the ferry which was a whole 3-5 min ride (woohoo ) and stopped and had lunch at a pub there where we met up with Mom and Ant's good friend "Ninney". It was so nice to see you again, Ninney :-) Thanks for coming and hanging out with us for awhile!!!
After lunch we headed to the fort where we spent time going through the buildings and listening to the various people telling us stories about the fort and how life was back then. It was so cool! We learned a lot!
We then headed back to Mom n' Joe's place where we said goodbye to Ant and went inside where we relaxed for a bit and then had to head to Abbotsford to the airport. We had a quick lil dinner there and then had to say goodbye which is always sad but Mom will be out here in less then two months when baby is born so that will be awesome!
So, there you have it - another great trip to the coast and a wonderful visit with the family :-) Love you guys!!!!!

Welcome!
Welcome everybody.
I am so sorry for the confusion lately with me changing blogs etc. I really thought for awhile that using the wordpress blog was perfect but as time went by I realized that I really, really don't like it! So, here I am back with blogger and starting a brand new blog.
I am 30 weeks 4 days pregnant right now and will post a few pictures of the ever growing and icky looking stomach..I say icky because of the stretch marks that are appearing and they are ICKY! They are there despite my careful application daily of cocoa butter lotion for the last 5 months now. Oh well what can I do?!
Before I post the latest belly shot I need to get everyone caught up on the fabulous weekend that Mark and I had visiting family in Vancouver.
Again, thank you so much for following me here and for your patience! I am here to stay now!
