My Mom Was Here!

A week has passed already since my Mommy was here and I am only now finding the time sit down long enough to tell you about our visit.

It was the best visit of all time. We had so much fun and did so many things and spent a lot of quality time together.

The kids adored her. Briella took to her right away and it wasn't long before Braeden was walking around calling "Nan" all the time and he still is!

We went shopping and picnic-ing, and hiking and walks and playec and relaxed and hiked some more, went sight-seeing, and ate popcorn together every night. It was great!

None of us wanted her to leave. Oh how I wish she could move out here but if it was this difficult to give up my life out West I can just imagine it would be a million times harder for her. So that ainj't gonna happen. We will most likely move back out West anyways sometime in the future. Not anytime soon but most likely at some point. We both miss it, of course me the most. But Mark really liked a lot of things about out there too. Who knows what the future holds!

Anyway back to the visit. We went out to Bennett Lake and had the picnic and one of the hikes. It was a beautiful day for it too. So beautiful out there.

We took a day to go to Moncton and shop and well that prolly wasn't the best day cuz shopping with kids is never easy and they were in a cranky mood that day...grr! It was still fun though cuz we were together :)

We took her for a hike on Friday to the Bluff which is absolutely gorgeous. That was a great hike and a great time spent together again.

All too soon the visit came to an end but on that last day we made the most of it and went to Hopewell Rocks for some more sight seeing. Again, lots of fun!

We love you Mommy (Nan) and can't wait for next years visit!!!!
