Our baby is 1 year old!

Time flies by at an unbelievably fast rate!

Our handsome little boy turns a year old today!

Here is a recap of his first year:

• He moved from Calgary, Alberta to Bathurst to Sussex, New Brunswick by the age of 5 months old.






• He met and loved and played with his NB family and had special time with is Grampy Coombs.






• He did a lot of travelling and saw lots of people and places and was such a good little boy.






• He learned to crawl.






• He discovered his love for solid food including:



• all cereals, breads, crackers, peas (his fav), carrots (when he was younger..not now!), sweet potato (when he was younger, not now) broccoli, cauliflower, beans, potatoes, kiwi, bananna, berries, peaches (eh not a big fan) pears, apples, eggs, cherrios, baby cookies, chicken, pork, beef, noodles and yogurt and i am sure a few others i can't think of right now.






• The point is that this little man is an incredible eater. He has a huge appetite and he eats fast too. Just like the Coombs side of the family..that's my boy :)






• He recently has taken to his sippy cup and now uses it exclusively.






• He loves to walk around with his plastic spoon. He takes it everywhere the last few days! Falls asleep with it in his little (big) hand too! It's crazy.






• He continues to have difficulty with sleep, something we are working on and have good nights and not so good nights as you know!






• He loves music...he can be in mid crawl and will just stop and start swaying to the music or most recently in mid step and will stop and sway and move closer to the sound.






• He knows how to clap, wave, shake hands and we're workin on him giving '5' now too.






• He loves loves loves to read books.






• He loves to play with lego.






• He loves to snuggle and give kisses and hugs.






• He sometimes snorts like a pig - so cute!






• He loves going to playgroups.

He has just accomplished so many things in the last year and has made his Mommy and Daddy so very proud of him. He brings us joy daily. We thank God daily that he is with us and so healthy and happy.

Braeden darling, we wish you a very happy birthday and we love you very, very much. We are so proud of you, son!
